The girls and I headed out to Davis Ranch for some fresh vegetables and fruits and of course yummy, sweet sloughhouse corn. We also got to pick our own strawberries and I am happy to say that we were able to make some jam before we ate them all.
I am a wife, mother of two and an avid seeker of fun. I love to spend time with my family and friends exploring all that this amazing region has to offer. After living in Sacramento for 5 years I have quickly discovered that we are conveniently located next to many great places and they are all only a day trip away. I have put together this blog for other families to get ideas from and then go out on some adventures of their own. I also hope to hear from some of you about your favorite destinations and or activities so I can add them to my repertoire.
