Is anyone else out there as excited about the release of the movie Where The Wild Things Are as we are? Pretty much it is all we can talk about around here. We were thrilled to find the new Wild Things book based on the movie and the music from the soundtrack is streaming through our house and car at all times. We are so ready for the release we can hardly stand it!!!!!
When we were at the book store buying our copy of the new book we also picked up a brochure from the National Wildlife Federation with a variety of lesson plans and activities based on Where The Wild Things Are. You can find a copy of it here. One of the activities they mention is fort building. The people over at We Love you So are taking it a step further and turning it into a contest. Unfortunately the deadline is tomorrow, Monday Oct. 12th, but if you hurry you can still make it. We just might try to pull something together after school tomorrow, if we do I will make sure to post some pics. So get your Wild Rumpus started and have some fun!!!!
